🌴Appendix fashion archive & Vivian Suter’s tropical canvases! A Week in Paris
A new week, a fresh edit of what to see, do and love in Paris (and the Saint-Ouen Flea Market). Celebrating Paris makers and the strange, new, true & beautiful, forever!

✨ The team behind Café les Deux Gares has opened a second spot Deux Gares Express taking over the ground floor of the hotel, opposite. Chef Jonathan Schweizer is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to eat in or take away, in a cute space designed by Luke Edward Hall.
🖤 Appendix is the new archival fashion boutique from our friends Dennis of @flatrack_ (vintage Margiela, Raf, etc.) and Théo from @metalliccurtain (Italian 80s–90s finds). They’ve just opened their own space at 1 cour de l’Île Louviers, under the arches of the Morland Mixité project, 75004.
🌴 Disco, now at Palais de Tokyo, is a vast, immersive exhibition of Vivian Suter’s painting practice – nearly 500 unframed canvases overlapping, stacked, swaying in the wind. Made over the past decade in her tropical Guatemalan garden studio. Sublime and slightly surreal.
🍨 The Carodiario summer gelateria is back! Il Gelato Teatro is serving small-batch scoops – think fior di latte, pistachio, dark choc sorbet – in the courtyard of the Musee de la Chasse et de la Nature until 20 July.
🍹 From Wednesday at Ogata: five summer evenings with Cravan’s Franck Audoux. Upstairs at the bar, cocktails meet tea from the T. Collection, paired with five à la carte izakaya-style dishes. Beautifully restrained, beautifully made.
🧃 Finally, Stephane Ashpool’s new venture Souvenir Pigalle brings all sorts of cool merch, including basketball shoes (his first design for Nike) plus cookies and fresh juice to the old Pigalle Paris space. Slogan: “Get in the habit of just making things for fun.” We’re in.
