👋🏽 Tillmans finale & Superstitch bespoke denim! A Week in Paris
A new week, a fresh edit of what to see, do and love in Paris (and the Saint-Ouen Flea Market). Celebrating Paris makers and the strange, new, true & beautiful, forever!

😭 Our favourite monument, the Centre Pompidou, closes next week for a 5-year overhaul – set to reconnect in 2030 with its original utopian spirit. It’s your last chance to catch Wolfgang Tillmans’s sweeping carte blanche on level 2 of the Pompidou library: a history-making project marking the end of an era.
💯 At the Puces, Marché Biron – the “Faubourg Saint-Honoré des Puces” – celebrates a century with a free open-air photo exhibition retracing its history, curated by Histoire de Rue (until 29 Sep). Born in 1925, five years after Vernaison, it was the first to focus on upscale restored antiques. (PS 👉🏾 the annual Fête des Puces is back next Thu 25 Sep!)
📍 Stamp artist Le Tampographe Sardon has moved his gallery next door into the old workshop on the corner of Rue Lespagnol, closer to Père-Lachaise. It’s a bright, new showcase for current experimentations alongside the classics, such as the ridiculous No FUturLUTUTu.
👖 Denim geeks Superstitch Paris launch Made to Order at 13 rue Racine, pushing their rare vintage machines from the 1930s-70s to the limit for exceptional bespoke garments.
🛏️ Self-taught painter (and incidentally, ex-girlfriend of local hero Olivier Zahm) Amanda Wall continues to battle impostor syndrome with this new show at Almine Rech Matignon, Beddy Bye, where the bed is a site of intimacy, memory and transformation.
⛓️ Accessories label Kitesy Martin Studio pops up at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche with Rock’n’Chaînes: bold bracelets, necklaces and carabiners customized with letter charms.
